From the 1960s into the 1990s, William Lanier Bowering donated to the Earthly Gardens Botanical Society, over 50 acres of land in the area of the lower mainland just outside of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, running alongside the Fraser River. This natural area's purpose is to display a world-class collection of the uniquely designed botanical wonders to the public and to make these amazing gardens available for any and all to see.
